You already saw the haircut I gave Maret earlier this week, and then the bleaching that left her with a strawberry blonde broom head.
Since we had purchased a bottle of blue Splat to dye her hair and now she wasn’t wanting to go ahead with that because she was smitten with the blonde, the younger kids clamoured for blue on their own locks.
So this is what we got, each with a style they chose for themselves.

Anders has big streaks at the front on his left side. Each child chose their own unique application or style.
Hello all. Maret, I love your hair! Very cool. Did you know that Susy was adopted to a really good home? Thanks for all your help at the Ranch in Ajijic. I’m in Vancouver now and missing Mexico a lot. Can’t wait to get back.
Hey Leigh. I was actually writing your dd contact info down the other day so I wouldn’t lose it and was wondering how to contact you other than phone as I don’t have one 😉 Glad you posted a comment here! The kids (all but Laars) are having a hoot volunteering at the Hamilton Hobby Farm, and now Mitchell, Maret and Gaelyn are getting some free horse riding lessons. Much of their week is taken up with hanging at the farm, and Mitchell/Everette work in Victoria most weekdays.
Good to hear about Susy getting a good home. We miss Mexico, too, but mostly the beaches (not the humidity). Glad its warming up here now. Enjoy your summer with family and friends. Vancouver is a beautiful place to be, between ocean and mountains. Keep in touch.
