Trinidad Bay & Redwoods

The children have done a lot of driving throughout North America but they have never seen the Oregon coast so we thought we’d head that direction.  We hit the northern California coast near Eureka and had hoped to meet up with an online friend we met thru Tim and Ann (where we stayed for the summer of 2013 in Colorado) but that just wasn’t to be, unfortunately.

But then we discovered Trinidad Bay and had a wonderful time there before hitting the Visitor Center and exploring into the Redwood Forest and set up camp just in time for the rains to begin.Trinidad Bay 2
