Farewell

One really starts to feel at home when you hang your hat at one location for a while.  And when the neighbours are so wonderful, it’s hard to leave.

Spending 3 months here at Hotel Perico was a good fit for us, especially since Everette and Mitchell were gone for 2 of the 3 months.  It was a safe, relaxing environment where we were welcomed with open arms by Tom and Jan, the caretakers.

And even after moving down to the apartments for the approaching Semana Santa high-season vacation time, we visited frequently up at Perico, taking in an occasional swim, and a heart-to-heart chat with Jan.  We even came up for a weekly Movie Night with popcorn.

We’re going to miss Tom and Jan; their big hearts, helping hands, positive attitudes.

Tom and Jan, THANK YOU for your kindnesses, helpfulness, and friendship.  Yes, we will certainly be keeping in touch.
