We often hit the Monday Farmer’s Market in Chapala, or Wednesday in Ajijic, but it’s nice to know that there’s always fresh produce and other stuff available daily in Chapala. You can find a cheap lunch, beautiful fresh flowers, and a feast for your eyes. I enjoy the hubbub at the market.
Outside Everette investigates the meat vendors, providing both raw and cooked varieties, from eye balls, brains and livers to intestines, skin and hearts. They don’t appeal to me, but Everette is often up to the adventure of trying different morsels, especially when he gets a free sampling. Often the kids give it a try, too.
