Gaelyn Bounces Thru Her Golden Birthday

To know Gaelyn is to know some exuberance.  She has been SO excited about today being her Golden Birthday and what she really wanted was a piñata.  Simple.

So after we ate lunch her Dad started to tell her a story.  He’s a great creator of silly stories.

Everette telling a story about a bouncy thing getting stuck in a tree this morning while he had been out watching the sun rise.

Gaelyn listening intently.

Everette blind folder her and took her to where he has his morning coffee and saw this orange thing bounce from the horizon into the trees. He removed the blind fold in hopes that she could help him find the bouncy thing.

Looking up she spotted Tigger’s butt.  Already she was excited.  Then the blindfold went back on and she was equipped to beat the snot (contents) out of him, if she could find him.

To burn more of her energy up we played some soccer & then cooled off in the swimming pool.  Gaelyn spent the rest of the afternoon instant messaging/skyping with friends & one of her big sisters.  She’s been watching the Olympics now and is planning on Beauty and the Beast for tonight.

In her books, its been the Best Birthday Ever, a big High Five as she bounces through our suite.
