She Loves a Cemetery

Layne has always enjoyed a walk through a cemetery so when she saw the gates open for entry she asked her Daddy to pull over.  So we took a little wandering thru the crammed real estate.

Flowers shrivel brown in plastic vases and leaves blow across the marble markers that snug up against each other.  Never before have we seen so many large marble and cement tombstones.  There are no large expanses of grass here; if a tombstone isn’t affordable then there may be a mound of dirt weeded frequently, but every space is taken with a loved one and usually boasts a monument of some sort.
