Tim & Ann & Why We’re Here

We met Tim & Ann in Los Frailes and knew they would be people we would meet up with again.  They had invited us to come camp at their property sometime this summer and we thought for sure that’s what we would do, maybe for a week.  But things happen, plans change, and we trust it’s for the better, somehow some way.

Tim wasn’t feeling so great when they left Los Frailes.  Always an active person, he hadn’t felt well after exertion.  Ann kept telling him to “Drink more water!” thinking he was dehydrated….easy in Mexico.  When they returned home to Colorado he wasn’t able to get in to see a specialist as soon as he had hoped, so while he waited they got started on the summer’s projects…..building a cover for their Airstream and building their new house.  At 70+ years Tim doesn’t sit around for much.

But when he finally got in to a cardiologist the projects came to a screeching halt.  He needed a quadruple bypass.

We heard about the situation, and with all of Everette’s building experience and Mitchell’s willingness to work, we offered to come spend the main part of our summer here to get as much of Tim’s projects done as possible.
