Friday Find: Somewhat Like-minded Joe the Blacksmith and His Bus

Camping out in the National Forest near Williams we stumbled upon Joe the Blacksmith who welcomed us to a tour of his bus/workshop.  Originally from Illinois he left  4 years ago with his blacksmithing trade and a school bus (he converted diesel to dual to work on used veggie oil, too).  He’s been smithing and traveling ever since, recycling nearly everything, bartering/trading, creating, networking, learning.  He says that his family wasn’t so keen on it when he started but they’ve seen him mature, grow and learn so much in those four years his family is now very proud of who Joe has become.
