Hitting Vendors on Our Way Out

On our way out of Mexico we hit a few vendors.  Getting our last food fix before entering the States.

sometimes the vendors seem to go into Panic when we order 18 all at once.

This stop was the best burritos we’ve had anywhere in Mexico I think.  We liked them with chunks of potatoes in them.  These also had beans and mechaca, with fresh tortillas fried up before our eyes.

DSCN1606One of our first stops when we entered Mexico was at a roadside vendor where we got coconuts from.  We ended up camping in Luis and Juanita’s yard for the night, and we just had to come back and see how they were making out.  Luis was in Ensanada so we didn’t see him, nor the kids at school, but we saw lovely Juanita who remembered we loved the coconuts, and served up a feast for our tummies.

DSCN1626So happy to see such improvement to their tienda (store).  Luis, when we talked with him, had been anxious for ideas, for expansion.  He was forward thinking, planning for a better future.  Sorry we missed him, but things are really looking up.  And Juanita is one of those pleasant people you love to do business with.   Her smile and laughter are contagious.
