Friday Finds: Zig-Zag Your Way on the TransPeninsular

Nothing like Trans Canada heading east-west or the I-5 heading north-south.

Mexico Hwy 1 zig-zags across the peninsula from east to west i.e. Sea of Cortez to Pacific all the while working its way from north to south, each time crossing over the Sierra’s in the middle of the peninsula.

One is often surprised at how much of the peninsula is still barren, undeveloped. Of course its desert, but resilient people live in places like this all over the globe. However, here on the Baja the population is still low, and pre-dominantly situated somewhat close to the water.

I'm opinionated, friendly & chatty... I hope you are, too
