El Tecolate is a good boon docking beach about 25 km from La Paz. We’ve now stopped her on 3 different occasions and have come to a definite conclusion (are we s-l-o-w or what?) that we won’t be coming back here to camp. It’s just too windy. We sleep poorly even with ear plugs in, and we get fine dust in everything. We wake up with sand in our teeth, a fine coating of sand on our pillows, in our hair, on our skin. Maret found shelter sleeping on the (short) van bench because she didn’t like getting coated in the fine powder, but it finds it way even into the van.
It is Beautiful, no doubt.
The sand is so white! And the water! ahh! Breathtaking! Yes, I wouldn’t like sand in everything either! 🙂
Tis beautiful and white. I think turquoise is becoming my favourite colour.
Beautiful. Love following you guys 🙂 Take care
Glad you are along for the journey, Lori. You live in a beautiful place too, but so much warmer here 🙂
