There are camps of fishermen here at the beach, coming from three different communities. They live in camp so obviously nothing fancy. They are focused on their job. There is no alcohol or partying. They are early to bed and early to rise, out on the water and back with their catch to clean and get to market. It’s really the fins they are after. You know, for the Japanese market of Shark Fin Soup that sells for exorbitant prices as some delicacy. Other than the guts thrown out for the pelicans & frigates, the fishermen must get money for all the parts of the sharks. Nothing wasted.
