Balsamic Salad Dressing

This is my favorite salad dressing.  I also like it on rice, dipping challah in it, using it on Greek Salad or coleslaw, on my fermented veggies or……endless uses for it.

It’s so good, I admit to licking the plate afterwards.

Here’s the original recipe. We at least double if not triple it since we are a bigger than average family and we go through it quite quickly, storing it in a big mason jar.

1/3 cup essential balanced oil (or I use whatever healthy oil I have around, ie. flax oil)

1/3 c olive oil

1/3 c balsamic vinegar

3 TBsp maple syrup (I prefer maple syrup, but I often use honey as its cheaper)

3 cloves garlic, pressed

2 TBsp dried basil

1/2 tsp prepared mustard (I usually use dijon)

pinch salt and pepper

Whisk it all together for using as a dressing, or Whip it to use as a dip for veggies.
